Chainmaille

This is a very general tutorial on making chainmaille, and to be honest, it's pretty straight forward, but just requires a lot of time and patience.

Step 1
Begin by lining up two lengths of chain. I reccomend starting with chains rather than a pile of seperare links.

Step 2
Then if you want a square piece, repeat this so you have what looks like one horizontal chain with a vertical chain coming off each link. Then proceed to use seperate links to connect each chain link by link. If you're making a tiered piece, then just stagger the outside chains off one longer original chain and conect the chains with seperate links.

Step 3
Just repeat this until all the links are connected and you have your piece of chainmaille.

Step 5 - Final Product
So you can use any colour, shape, and size links, just remember the bigger the links, the quicker and less frustrating it'll be. :)
