Bra Breast Plate Armour

This piece is one of the easier ones (in my opinion) as you work from using a bra as a base, meaning you wont have to spend all that time sizing. :)

Step 1

You will need: (thickish) card, a well fitting bra, (this can be a push up if you desire although mine wasn't as I find them uncomfortable), silver spraypaint, glue, and siscors.

First is to cut the card triangles; I did two sizes as shown above, the smaller ones go on the inner side of each bra cup to help give it depth. Just cut a whole heap and you can make more later if you need more to cover the bra cup.

Step 2

Then you'll need to bend the triangles to give them a curve- this will help them stick to the bra cup.

Step 3

The next stage is priming the bra. I did this to help the cardboard peices stick to the fabric, idealy you'd spend a lot of time on this giving it a hard, almost paper mache' type finish. I just put a couple layers of glue on to harden the outer fabric cause I'm lazy.

Step 4

Now to put the pieces on and spraypaint, this looks a lot harder than it is. just stick everything on, I used pegs to hold the edges on as it dried. then coat in a few thick layers of glue to hold it all together. Once dry, spraypaint and then its done. :)
